As a key player in the merchandising team, the full-time Assistant Buyer, Men's Sportswear will manage vendor partnerships, assist in inventory productivity analysis, and support price change initiatives while working onsite in Washington, DC. Key responsibilities: Liaise with Buyers and brand partners to confirm order details and manage updates to buy sheets Prepare Buyers for market by providing insights on historical performance and coordinating logistics for style-out sessions Review business performance and recommend in-season actions while managing markdown cadence and price changes Required qualifications: 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Buyer, preferably in a major department store Strong knowledge of retail math concepts, including markup, margin planning, and inventory productivity measures Proficiency in systems such as RFS, AMS, PCW, and NuOrder Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks independently Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite
