This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining campus buildings and equipment, with a particular emphasis on electrical and plumbing systems.

Status: Full-time, 12-month

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm -9:30pm

  • Diagnose and complete commercial building repairs, with particular emphasis on electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot lighting, switches, receptacles, breakers, fixtures, drains, toilets, faucets, valves, water heaters, and related building components within the employee’s qualifications and applicable code requirements.
  • Perform general carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling, door, and hardware repairs.
  • Prioritize, and complete work orders based on safety, operational urgency, event schedules, and campus needs. Use the electronic work order system to track work order progress.

  • Ability to remain physically active throughout the workday, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching, and to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and move equipment, furniture, supplies, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
